Coffee’s best-kept secret, revealed.
What is Cascara?

Cascara is the dried skin and pulp of the coffee cherry, the outer part of the coffee fruit that surrounds the seed (the coffee bean).
After harvest, the whole coffee cherry is laid out on raised drying beds and sun-dried. Once dried, the fruit layer is separated from the seed. This dried coffee fruit is known as cascara.

Traditionally brewed like a tea, cascara offers a naturally fruity, lightly sweet profile. Naturally rich in caffeine, minerals, amino acids, and polyphenols (antioxidants), it has become a key ingredient in a new generation of energy and wellness beverages.
Not all cascara is the same. Quality and flavor vary significantly, which is why we exclusively source and select each lot for its exceptional quality, nutritional profile, and distinctive flavor expression.
